MEET THE THERAPIST
My name is Matilda and I am the founder of Hollygreen Hypnotherapy. Since finishing my masters in conflict response eight years ago, I have worked and trained in the mental health and charity sector. I have specialised in supporting victims of domestic and sexual violence, and women with moderate to severe mental health issues, as well as addiction issues. I have run workshops and retreats focused around wellbeing, with a focus on supporting women with their self confidence. I manage Surf Therapy programmes for children and young people in Bristol, and I have also worked as a head of year in a secondary school, leading on mental health and wellbeing for my students. I have completed my postgraduate training with the University of Exeter in low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, with over 120 CBT specialised client hours. I hold a postgraduate diploma in Solution Focused Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy and am fully qualified to work with clients on a range of different issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, phobia, anti-smoking, sleep issues, as well as confidence, careers and future planning. I also specialise in ADHD and Neuro-affirming therapy. I welcome clients from all different social and cultural backgrounds, and I am a LBGTQIA+ inclusive therapist. Over the last 5 years I have completed over 500 hours of sessions with a range of different clients. I currently offer clients the chance to work with me online over zoom from the comfort of their own home. I truly believe that therapy should be accessible for all, regardless of your income or circumstance, which is why I offer sessions at a low cost, and also offer concessions. Please contact me or see my FAQ for any other questions or info.
